Meet the Member - Suzy Rennison

We LOVE celebrating our members and highlighting the incredible impact the Pink Coral Community has had on them.

Meet Suzy from Admin Unbound she’s one of our OG virtual coworking club members and has been a part of our community for 1.5 years. We love Suzy - she’s always switching up her hairstyle or hair colour, so it’s always a fun surprise to see her new look. We also have a lot in common as mums, business owners and the daily juggling act that comes with both.

Over to you Suzy:

I am a freelance operations and project manager living in Newcastle, and I have two children aged 6 and 3. After working in programme and project management in the charity and university sectors, when I had my second child in the midst of Covid-19 I decided to take control of my working life and try self-employment as a Virtual Assistant. After starting as a general admin bod I quickly started specialising in charity operations, and now focus on supporting small charities and social enterprises with managing their systems, processes, governance, staff teams, grants and reporting and impact and evaluation. I have an (unofficial) focus on neurodivergent CEOs and founders, as 80% of my clients fit into this category and I have a lot of experience of helping people to implement systems that work for them, being a sounding board and motivating people to complete tasks.

My favourite part of my job is knowing that my support helps charities and social businesses to reach more people more effectively. My favourite part of being self-employed is working with my energy levels, not having to ask anyone for time off, and always agreeing with my boss!

A great way to start working with me is to book my Small Charity SOS power hour for £99. https://www.adminunbound.co.uk/services-and-rates. In this hour I focus in with you on part of your work to help see how the admin and operations processes can be improved to maximise your resources and support your service users.

I’ve loved being part of Pink Coral for the last year and a half. Although I’m not local to the in-person meet ups, I usually manage to make at least one online co-working session a week and that is always the most productive part of my week! Everyone in Pink Coral is a fellow female business owner, and the community is so supportive of one another and helps me stay motivated.
