Maximise Your In-person Coworking Experience: The Best Tasks To Tick-off The List!

In-person group coworking sessions offer a fab opportunity to blend productivity with social interaction.

It’s not however the place for super focused, head-down for 6 hours, get sh*t done type of work (that’s what our virtual coworking sessions are for)

While all our venues Wi-Fi has been checked, there may be (very rare) instances where access could be limited. Fear not! We've compiled a list of the best type tasks that you can do at our IRL coworking events.

Get social

Grab your phone and connect with your online community. Hop onto your social media platforms, create Insta stories, share glimpses of your coworking space and new business besties (obligatory pic of your yummy cake and cuppa too), and engage with your audience. Show them the cosy environment and tag all the amazing women you’re coworking with (don’t forget to tag the venue too, we love to support our local businesses).

Keep an eye on your inbox

Use this time to stay on top of your emails. Respond to important messages, organise your inbox, and ensure that you're not missing out on any urgent comms.

Write content

Whether it's blog posts, articles, or Insta captions, bring your creative juices to the coworking table. Without the distractions of home, you'll find it easier to focus on writing great content. Don't forget to share your progress with your fellow coworkers—it might spark some inspiration!

Biz planning in your fave notebook

Step away from the screen and grab your fave notebook. Use this time to brainstorm, plan, and strategise for your business. Jot down ideas, map out goals, and create a roadmap for your next big dream project. Dream big! (It’s so nice to have some time with your thoughts and notebook isn’t it?)

Plan social media content

Take advantage of the beautiful coworking atmosphere to plan your social media content for the coming month. Brainstorm captions, create Canva graphics, and schedule posts for the upcoming days or weeks. This is an excellent way to make the most of your time and ensure a consistent online presence (got to keep the algorithm happy)

Tick off niggly admin tasks

We all have those small, lingering tasks that often get pushed to the bottom of our to-do lists. Use this time to tackle them. Whether it's updating your expenses, organising files, or cleaning up your Google Drive folders, Ticking off these small admin tasks give you quick wins and a feeling of accomplishment.

Brainstorm with fellow attendees

One of the unique benefits of in-person coworking is the option to collaborate and brainstorm with others. Share your ideas, ask for input on challenges, and offer your expertise to fellow coworkers.

Just chat, eat, and drink

Remember, coworking is not just about work. As women who WFH or run a business solo, just enjoy being in a new environment and in the company of others. Grab a cuppa and just get talking. Building genuine relationships within our coworking community can make your time more fun and you’ll also be effortlessly expanding your network too.

When us ladies get together we do love a good chinwag, so think of these as SOCIAL & PRODUCTIVE events and whether you have access to Wi-Fi or not, there’ll always be tasks you can do to maximise your time.

So don’t forget your notebook, phone and power up that laptop and we’ll see you at our next event.
