Why we charge a fee at Pink Coral (and why it's worth it)
Over the past year or so, you may have noticed that free networking events and communities have popped up everywhere and while they can be amazing, they’re not always sustainable. At Pink Coral, we charge for both membership and in-person events – and in the words of L’Oréal, it’s because we’re worth it. 💁🏻♀️
Pink Coral is my main business and my focus is on building this community for you. I’m not trying to sell you something else or use this as a stepping stone. I personally host every event and when you walk in, I know your name, your business and how I can support you. I’ve done the work (and yes, maybe a little online stalking - you’ve been warned 😉) because I genuinely care about who you are.
I take care of the hard stuff - marketing, logistics and getting people there, so you can focus on meeting people and making connections. Our events are designed to help you grow your business, feel less alone and form lasting relationships.
This isn’t a side project or a passing trend for me. Since January 2023, I’ve been pouring my heart into this community. And with over a decade of experience in event management, I know how much effort it takes to keep a community thriving. Sadly, many free groups have fizzled out, leaving people without support when they need it most.
When you invest in something, you’re more likely to show up, engage, and prioritise it. And when you show up consistently, that’s where the magic happens - collaborations, friendships and growth. At Pink Coral, we may be small, but the ladies here are thriving, succeeding, and building deep, meaningful relationships with each other. Communities truly thrive when members invest in each other.
I keep Pink Coral affordable because I know the realities of running a solo or small business. But let’s face it - stepping away from free platforms like Insta and LinkedIn for some face-face time can work wonders for your business (and your sanity 😂)
So, why charge? Because it creates a stronger, more committed network that truly supports one another. Our members – even those who join our pay-as-you-go meetups – see the value and come back for more.
I’d love to see you at our next event or welcome you into the community!
P.S Free resources and events can be wonderful, but if you’re looking for deep connections and lasting growth, investing your time, energy and a little money in the right space can make all the difference.
